Becoming your own best friend

Be gentle to yourself. You deserve kindness. We can be our own worst enemy but also our own best friend. Try and allow good thoughts to flow through your mind. It’s so difficult to do, especially when we are going through hard and troubling times but just one kind thought a day can begin to reset your mind and how you view yourself. You deserve sunshine , you deserve peace. I’m sure you wish it for other people so start with the most important person in your life. You…

Here at Coach Lindsay this is the biggest lesson I could ever gift to you. It’s my number one belief and something that is at the very heart of everything I do both professionally and personally. It has taken me years of patience with myself and the practice of acknowledging that me, myself and I are THE most valuable asset that I have. I have friends all around the world. I have close friends, some of the closest you can ask for, a loving husband, acquaintances, children, a family but at the end of the day the one I carry with me, always, is me. I have learned to tune in and listen to my needs and acknowledge when I need to slow down, take a breath and relax. Also to step things up a gear, motivate myself and get moving. Mindfulness and Meditation practices are powerful intuitive tools that you can equip yourself with to know your mind and body in a deeper more spiritual way. You are your own inner voice. How you think is how you allow yourself to be treated by others. Personal growth is of upmost importance and your future will look so much more positive when you realise that you are your own best friend.

You are one of a kind. Show yourself love and respect in every way. Eat well, get out in nature, nourish your body, soul and mind. Show kindness to others but more importantly to yourself. Be strong but gentle when needed, be silly but serious when the time is right. Allow the light in but acknowledge the darkness. Be sensitive and not allow yourself to be hardened by life’s challenges. Give love, receive love. Show vulnerability and rawness, yet always protect yourself. Give advice and remember to be open to receiving it too
